For those of you that don’t know, Bloglovin’ is an affiliate network for bloggers and brands to come together and share resources for a mutual goal. I’ve been operating this blog at a loss for some time now, and while I love what I’m doing, it’s about time to start trying to earn something for my work.

I started this blog as a way to channel some of my energy into something that was just mine.  I think that is exactly what I’ve managed to achieve.  I enjoy making informative posts about military lifestyle.  Knowing that I may help someone navigate what can be a difficult lifestyle brings me joy.  Seriously, it sounds trite but it’s true!

For those of you who have attempted to maintain an online presence successfully, you know that it can take a bit of capital to keep it afloat.  From website hosting, images, SEO management to the creation of content… it all takes dollars and cents.  I’m by no means trying to get rich (but like, cool bonus if it happens) but monetizing my blog will allow me to keep this blog growing.

That’s where Bloglovin’ comes in.  Bloglovin’ works as an intermediary between bloggers and brands.  Brands will use my page as a way to reach a new audience and expand their reach.  If I so choose, I can even choose to highlight them to my audience.  In exchange, brands will compensate me, allowing me to continue sharing my milspouse adventures with all of you.

  1. I discovered Bloglovin’ when I first started my blog over a year ago. I started blogging to talk about my travels and hopefully inspire people to travel. I too haven’t noticed much traffic from Bloglovin’ and have experienced a few problems in the past when my posts have been uploaded. How have you found Bloglovin? It’s always hard to try and earn money through the blog. It’s great to see bloggers supporting each other.

  2. I’m on Bloglovin’ as well but I don’t see any traffic from it. Maybe I should focus on it more and get more collaborations from brands.

  3. I’m on BlogLovin’ too, just another channel to get more traffic. To be honest, I don’t see much traffic generate from there. Maybe I’m doing something right, regarding traffic, Pinterest is probably the best so far in my opinion.

  4. First, thank you so much for your sacrifice as a military wife! It’s important that we remember that spouses at home are serving, too. You are AWESOME! I’m rooting for your blog! I just launched my blog a few weeks ago, and I’ve been crazy busy trying to learn everything that goes into making this into a business. There’s so much to learn! Thank you for sharing about BlogLovin’! I’ll have to check them out. Blessings to you and your family!

  5. Great blog! This sounds great. Thanks for sharing ♥️ ♥️ By any chance you are interested on doing collaborations, you can check out the collaborations portal of and connect with amazing brands!
